Error: Transport(s) cannot be approved or imported here

Issue

We are getting the following warning when trying to approve transports in a particular system location

“The following transports cannot be approved or imported because this system location is currently locked.”

What is this error, and how do we mitigate it?

 

 

Answer

This warning happens when ShiftLeft: Lock Control Point / Import Queue (0027) is switched on via Windows GUI configuration.

This particular analyser is typically used when there is a reason for transports not to be approved/imported in a system (for example, because it is down for maintenance)

If you see this error, check with your ActiveControl Administrators if the analyser is switched on (and why).
